Cardinal Fly By Podcast – This Week’s Episode Featuring Natalie Rutledge
This week, we’re joined by the incredible Natalie Rutledge, Executive Director of Communities In Schools for Marietta and Cobb County. Natalie takes us on a journey through her high school years in Mississippi, the activities that shaped her, and the path that led her to Georgia.
In this episode, she shares the heart behind Communities In Schools and the meaningful ways the organization is supporting students at Osborne High School and across Cobb County. As a proud mother to a Cobb County student and a Cobb graduate, Natalie’s passion for education and community shines through in everything she does.
Recently, she helped organize the annual adult Spelling Bee at the historic Strand Theatre—an event full of fun, laughter, and some unexpected surprises (including contestants dressed as chickens!). With the community’s support, the event raised over $100,000, ensuring even more students have access to the resources they need to succeed.
